A lie told often enough becomes the truth.

Formulated without Pro - blacklist
This is a list of companies, brands, and manufacturers of home hair care, color, and chemical products. These products were once strictly pro and available only from the salon. With this came the obligation to spend millions of hours and tens of thousands of dollars investing in the education needed. And in some cases, expensive certification and ongoing training were mandatory if we wanted to stock them. But we understood all the training was necessary as they were products formulated for professionals. We are well aware and versed on the ramifications if these products were ever used by those untrained.

Cut to today:
These manufacturers now sell the same products with absolutely no stipulation or consideration to where it's being sold, who's selling it, who's buying it, and what they're hoping to achieve.

How is this so with... Zero training.

What-the! Is that not just one hug slap in the chops? Why did we need to bother if consumers do not?

A product formulated and built for professionals, with the intended use or purchaser to be us and/or our clients exclusively, can not also be the same product available to untrained consumers.

Can you buy Novocaine at Walmart? No, because that's a professional product and would require years of training and experience.

So, what's the difference between this example and us?
So, until we have a new interpretation, meaning, and standards, we're running with the 'OG' version to form a few considerations.
A temporary definition of Pro:
Until we have a new interpretation, meaning, and standards, we're running with the 'OG' version to form a few considerations for those who make the list.

Manufacturers:

Manufacture sells exclusively to licensed hair stylists, cosmetologists, and barbers.
Manufacturers do not sell directly to our clients on Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces.
Manufacturers do not sell to consumers, period.
Manufacturers do not divert and lie about it.
Manufacturers do not sell to other third-party vendors who then sell to consumers.
Manufacturers only employ licensed hair stylists, cosmetologists, and barbers for education and marketing requirements.
Manufacturers do not employ non-professional influencers at the expense of the Pro.
